Tóm tắt: The study was conducted for the purpose of inspects the prevalence infection of microsporidian parasites on white leg shrimp farms in Ca Mau province. In addition, study aim to update the current status of shrimp farm infected with white feces syndrome by research on morphological and histopathological observation of microsporidian parasites on infected shrimp samples. A total of 38 ponds across Ca Mau province: Cai Nuoc, Phu Tan, and Dam Doi districts; cross-sign shrimps of slow growth syndrome and white feces syndrome were collected freshly from pond has been reported with symptoms of slow growth, white fecal floating on the surface. For wet mount method and fresh smear method applied stained method with Giemsa establish further detection microsporidian; Hepatopancreas and digestive tract were dissected and applied on lame in order to observe under microscope to detect parasite morphology. Histopathology method also collected that shrimp with clear gross-sign were fixed with Davison’ solution for determine the levels of damage in scale of cell level such as necrosis; enlargement of capillaries and ulcerative in tubular epithelium of hepatopancreas. The study determined the prevalenc einfection and showed that 60.5% infection prevalence on white leg shrimp farms in Ca Mau province had EHP associated in white feces syndrome.
