Abstract: | The objective of the study was to determine the optimal feeding frequency for striped catfish (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) culture to improve growth and feed utilization. The average 30 g/fingerling of experiment was randomly selected and cultured in hapas setting in an earthen pond for 210 days. There are three treatments in this experiment being T1 feeding once a day at 4 pm; treatment 2 feeding twice a day at 8 am and 4 pm; and T3 feeding thrice a day at 8 am, 12 pm and 4 pm. The results of the experiment showed that the survival rate (SR) between the treatments was not significantly different (p>0.05). Fish growth performance (Wf, WG, DWG) in treatment feeding 3 times per day were the best compared to the others (p |
