At the National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology (Hanoi, SRV), of the total 133 drug items in use, the item number of the 2017’ inventory was 110 (82.7%), those with remaining expiry time less than 03 months were 103, and only one (01) with 18-months' expiry time left. These proved reasonable, with Vital drugs in Group V. The inventory value was VND 4,125,446,633. By ABC analysis, A, B and C category items were found 17.3%; 19.1%; 63.6%, respectively, and as thus, accounted for 79.5%; 15.3%; 5.2% of the hospital annual drug expenditure. The drug of the highest annual consumption value was Remicade (14.41% of the total value of A items), and Gastropulgite (of the A items list) took a value of 97.696 million VND. The main portion of the inventory was the drugs ofE Group (88.2% in item number, 98.2% in the drug expenditure). It was reasonable that none drug of D group (not essential, but desirably available) was inventoried, and unreasonable that Calcium Chloride and Neostigmine (as essential drugs of V group) were out of stock at the time of the survey.vi_VN
