Abstract: | From the dichloromethane extracts of the aerial parts of Hypericum sampsonii Hance collected in June 2016 in Bac Kan provine (North Vietnam) three compounds were isolated by means of various chromatographic methods and identified as 13-118-biapigenin (1), betulinic acid (2) and daucosterol (3) by 1D-, 2D-NMR in reference to the literature. These compounds may in part answer for the medicinal value of the plant in the Vietnamese folk medicine for treatment of blood stasis, diarrhoea, snakebites, burns, swellings, nosebleed, hemoptysis, rheumatism, inflammation, coughing. |
