Abstract: | In view that Scutellaria barbata D. Don is commonly used in the folk medicine owing to various biological effects such as anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterium, diuretic ...but the common way of use is inconvenient, mainly by boiling with water for drink, the plant dried powdered extracts were prepared. For quality control, the products (dried extract powders) were charaterized and standardized in the following criteria: description, loss on drying, particle size, identification, quantification, total ash, heavy metal and limit of bacterial infection. |
