Abstract

For study on the content of the total saponins of the roots of Panax notoginseng (Burk) F.H.Chen planted in some provinces of Viet Nam, eight Panax notoginseng root samples collected from Fla Giang and Lao Cai were quantitative analysis by HPLC as follows: C18 column, a detection wavelength of 203 nm, a column temperature of 25°C, a flow rate of 1.5 ml/min). The content of the total saponins averaged at 5.52 % to 8.31 %.
