Định lượng saponin tổng số trong dược liệu thân rễ bảy lá một hoa (Paris polyphylla var. chInensis) thu hái ở Việt Nam bằng phương pháp đo quang

Abstract

A spectrophotometrlc method was developed for determination of the total saponins in Rhizoma Paridis (of Paris polyphylla var. chinensis (Franchet) H. Hara, Trilllaceae) based on Rosenthaler reaction of photometric reagents (vanillin/ glacial acetic acid and perchlonc acid) on the Paris saponins, with diosgenin as reference standard and VIS colourimetry at 455 nm. The method was validated in terms of linearity (r - 0.9997), repeatability (RSD = 1.22%) and accuracy (97.00101.70%). The total saponins of the Rhizoma Paridis samples collected from several provinces of Vietnam were found to be 4.88-8.43% (calculated on absolutely dry materials). And thereby, this method proved suitable for routine analysis of total saponins in Paris polyphylla var. chinensis (Franchet) hi. Hara (Trilliaceae).
