dc.description.abstractThree ursane-type triterpenes were isolated from the leaves and stems of the medicinal plant Danshen (Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge). Their structures were identified as ursolic acid (1), 2/3-hydroxypomolic acid (2) and asiatic acid (3) by MS, NMR in reference to the literature. This is the first report on the phytochemistry of these aerial parts of Vietnam's danshen.vi_VN
