dc.description.abstract | In view that catechins account for anti-oxidative, anti-inflamatory, anti-tumor activity, the catechin-rich green tea extracts were prepared using macroporous resins. The obtained preparations were charaterized by various chemical and physical properties. Of the two tested resins, the H-bond resin HPD826 exhibited the better adsorption/desorption capability and desorption ratio to EGCG (as the main principal catechin of the green tea). The catechin enrichment was optimized by dynamic adsorption/desorption experiments on HPD826 resin columns. Under the optimized conditions, the EGCG content of the 30% ethanol eluents increased by 2.7-fold from 15.03% (in the cmde extracts) to 40.06%, with the recovery yield of approximately 70%. Experimentally, the macroporous resins made the preparation simple laid efficient ways for enlarging scale of enrichment catechin in natural products 6 the type for pharmaceutical application. | vi_VN |
