dc.description.abstract15 samples of Hacourtia sp. collected from various provinces of Vietnam were investigated for botanical characteristics and genetic diversity by molecular marker (RAPD). By morphologic and genotypic differentiation of the collected samples, the F/acourtia species were classified into three groups. Flacourtla sp. samples showed high genetic similarity to each other in spite of the geographic distance and obvious genetic diversity. Of these, HQ275 and HQ2941 were Flacourtla rukam species and subspecies, while the other 13 species were Flacourtia indlca. These findings may serve as a basis for evaluating the gene source of Flacourtia species, especially of Flacourtia rukam. which is known as a rare source of medicinal herb in Vietnam.vi_VN
