dc.description.abstract | An ultra performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method was developed for determination of lornoxicam in plasma. The Thermo TSQ Quantum Ultra UPLC-MS/MS operated in the multi reaction-monitoring mode using the electrospray ionization technique. Lornoxicam and the internal standard (Meloxicam) were extracted from plasma by liquid - liquid extraction with diethylether - chloroform. The reconstituted samples were chromatographed on a C18 column (50 x 2.1 mm, i.d., 1.9 pm) with isocratic elution at a flow rate of 0.3 ml/min with 0.1 % formic acid - acetonitrile at a suitable ratio. The standard curves revealed fine linearity at the range of 0.015 to 1.5 pg/ml for lornoxicam with mean correlation coefficient of ≥ 0.99. The intra-day and inter-day precision and accuracy were within 90% -110.0%. The method was well time-saving (the total run time was 2.2 min only), and showed helful for BA-BE studies of lornoxicam preparations. | vi_VN |
