Abstract

Improving the spiritual life in general and communicative efficiency for the elderly living in nursing homes is essential to help the elderly live happily, healthily and meaningfully, The paper presents the status of communicative agents of the elderly living in nursing homes. Survey results show that the elderly communicate mainly to the people living in the nursing home and social workers. They are less involved in organizations or social groups for the elderly. Communicative agents of the elderly are shrinking compared to before entering the nursing home and are different between men and women; between private nursing homes and state centers.
