Abstract: The important task in training primary teachers is a preparation for students with the professional competences to implement teaching activities in elementary school. Updating, renovating contents and teaching methods must be done regularly in the teachers training program to meet the requirements of education reform. In this article, We present the results of the study on the meaning and content of experiential and practical activities in elementary mathematics, the elements of organization and designing competences about the experiential and practical activities for students. Based on that, we propose measures to prepare for students this competences.
