Abstract: Experiential learning is one of effective fonns of integrated teaching for enhancing and developing the specific capabilities of the Literature subject. On the basis of the language proficiency requirements for junior high school students in accordance with the Draft of the New General Curriculum of Literature and the characteristics of experiential learning, the paper proposes the directions to develop language ability for secondary school students through experiential learning to assist teachers in teaching and evaluating.
