Silicone is a widely-used cosmetic ingredient, whose advantages are perceived as detackification, soft and non-greasy feeling and excellent spreading quality. However, due to its special structures and properties, conventional emulsions fail to incorporate. Therefore, this research is developed with the aim of overcoming this hindrance. Two products namely BB Cream and Hair Conditioner were successfully formulated by finding a way to incorporate different types of silicones harmoniously with other conventional ingredients. After formulation, these two products were evaluated through a series of physicochemical assays such as pH, viscosity determinations, temperature testing, and evaluation of the organoleptic characteristics (odor, color and general aspects). This was followed by sensory evaluation, which showed positive and favourable outcomes to our newly-formed products.vi_VN
