Abstract: Project-based learning is an active teaching method which contributes significantly to learners' development of abilities and personalities and meets the requirements of teaching methods renovation in current period. In this paper. authors analyse advantages and disadvantages in application of project - based learing to the chapter "The scalar product of two vectors and its application" (Geometry 10). Based on this anlalysic, some suggestion for the teaching of this subject are proposed.
