dc.description.abstractAccording to the latest reports from the Ministry of Industry Trade, there have been 45 seaport in operation: 2 seaports of type IA (international gateway port); 12 seaport of type I (regional hub general port); and 18 seaports of type II (local general ports) and 13 seaports of type III (onshore petrol port). There are 265 wharves/ 402 berths with the length of 87,550m in total, with designed capacity of around 500-550 m tons pa. However, the exploitation in general has not been commensurate with investments due to many inadequacies.vi_VN
