dc.description.abstractHigher education plays an important role in training high-quality human resources to meet the requirements of the task of national construction and defense. Therefore, the Party and State have set forth many guidelines and policies for education and training development, including the “Education development strategy for the period 2011-2020”. After 10 years of implementing this strategy, the higher education of Vietnam has achieved many important achievements, growing in scale and increasing in quality. Based on the collected data and documents, the article analyzes and clarihes the current status of higher education of Vietnam in the period 2011-2020, the achieved results and draws experiences and suggestions for the organization and implementation for the next stage of higher education development.vi_VN
