Abstract: | Simple and elegant, rustic but no less sophisticated, the village communal house is unobtrusively cherished under the shade of trees, stimulating the senses of humility, the idyllic, and personal optimism. This is the place where the unique identity of traditional Vietnamese architecture gathers. The architecture and fine art of the village communal house are distinctly Vietnamese features, reflecting a retro feel, yet a continuation of the Dong Son cultural tradition. They are a vivid and genuine symbol of Vietnam, an artistic result accumulated over thousands of years. |
