dc.description.abstract | Fly ash obtained from Tra Vinh thermal power plants was tested for radiation safety and used to produce unfired bricks with some additions. The fly ash used in high concentrations (up to 70% of bricks) proved a safe and economic solution for the production of unfired bricks. The product was tested for mechanical and physicochemical properties such as: compressive strength, flexural strength according to TCVN, SEM images of the horizontal surface of bricks, XRD and IR of bricks were also obtained. Other parameters such as water absorption, adhesion to construction mortar were also investigated. The obtained results indicate that the unfired bricks produced from fly ash of thermal power plants have high potential in construction and contribute to solving environmental problems as well as creating an unfired construction products with high quality produced by a green production. | vi_VN |
