Abstract: | The focus of this thesis is developing a COVID-19 tracing tool using graph database. This tool has been implemented as a web-based application. Over the last few years, the coronavirus pandemic has become one of the most serious health crises in the world. Many countries around the world have come together to fight the battle against the invisible threat. The World Health Organization (WHO) has developed a project to deal with different outbreak scenarios, but it is not accessible for many people. So, the need for a simple system that can access easily by many people is real. The system will help fighting the coronavirus pandemic by raising people’s awareness about this critical problem, and also help people with authorities to classify and manage the data about the disease cases. By providing these abilities, the tool can reduce the transmission risks for a community. The web application consists of a main page to check the COVID-19 worldwide statistics, an analyst page to manipulate tracing data, and an admin page to maintain different users. The coronavirus global data that were used to create the main page are on the public site https://disease.sh/. The dummy data on the analyst page have been created by the WHO and this data are accessible on their GitHub page under Go.Data project. |
