BUILDING A RECOMMENDER SYSTEM FOR SELLING COMPUTER ACCESSORIES USING ASSOCIATION RULES

Abstract

The topic "Building A Recommender System For Selling Computer Accessories Using Association Rules" aims to build a web-based system to help users who need to buy a computer to build the most suitable computer. In addition, the system also has the functions of an e-commerce website to assist users to be able to do online shopping right after building the computer. The system consists of two main groups of users: customer and manager. Customers can search for products, view product details, add products to cart, pay cart. The manager manages the list of products, add new product, manages product categories, and confirms orders for customers. The system is built based on Java programming language in combination with Spring Framework. In order to help users build computers, the system also applies association rules to exploit computer configuration data to be able to recommender suitable accessories for users.
