Abstract: | Studying about allocative efficiency is very important in policy formulation and management of each enterprise. The data envelopement analysis method was used to calculate the allocative efficiency of Vietnam's manufacturing enterprises from 2000 to 2018. At the same time, the study divided enterprises into three group by technology level for more detailed analysis. The results show that allocative efficiency tends to decrease during the studied period and there is not much difference between the three groups of enterprises. However, the group of low-tech enterprises has the highest allocative efficiency, followed by the group of medium-tech enterprises and the group of high-tech enterprises with the lowest allocative efficiency. The results also show that the allocative efficiency of two-digit VSIC sectors in each group is significantly different. |
