This research aims to measure how competent are the English Pedagogy students at Can Tho University at Emotion Regulation. Subsequent to this, the collected data may help reflect the current situation of the students, which will be a valuable source for the Faculty. In order to assemble the necessary information, the questionnaire sheets were delivered to 129 students across all courses, then gathered and processed. The result has shown that, the students believe they are better at Positive Emotion Regulation, comparing to Negative Emotion Regulation. Moreover, gender and course differences did not lead to significant contrast in Emotion Regulation Ability. From a safety perspective, this study emphasises the need to take into account the students’ inefficacy of regulating their negative emotions.
