Abstract: | This study investigated the perception of English Major students toward learning English grammar on the e-learning system at Can Tho University. A mixed-method design was utilized, with 164 participants responding to a five-point Likert scale questionnaire that included open-ended questions, and multiple-choice questions. The findings showed that students generally had positive attitudes toward e-learning, with a majority agreeing that instructors should provide a variety of assignment resources and eye-catching exercises. They believed that it provided them with access to a variety of resources, interactive learning experiences, and self-paced learning opportunities. However, some students expressed concerns about the lack of interaction with instructors on the e-learning system. Some areas of improvement were identified, such as the need for more eye-catching exercises and instructors to provide a wider variety of assignment resources. The study concludes with recommendations for improving the quality of learning and teaching English grammar on an e-learning system. Overall, the study provided insights into the perceptions of English Major students toward e-learning for English grammar learning, highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement. The findings can be useful for educators and curriculum designers looking to enhance the quality of English language instruction through e-learning systems. |
