Abstract: Previous linguistic studies have indicated that while listening is one of the most important skills, it is also the most neglected one in English language learning. Many studies have shown that many universities and schools did not paid enough attention to listening comprehension; consequently, students lose their motivation and distracted with the traditional audio method to continue improving their competence. Opportunely, with the existence of the technology revolution 4.0, technology has become an effective language learning tool. The advent of social networks which helps socialize people also increased rapidly, which leads to a new acquisition of language learning. With the aim of supporting and broadening this innovation, this study investigates the attitudes of English majored students on using YouTube in English to practice listening skill. The participants were 88 EFL students in CTU from the four courses namely 39 to 42. The findings show that the learners have a positive attitude towards using YouTube in English as a means to practice listening skill. This research provides further suggestions for teachers to have YouTube corporated in more English classes.
