BUILDING A DATING AND FRIEND APP

Abstract

Currently, the demand for meeting and connecting with new people is increasing in the community. The convenience of dating apps makes it easy for people to search for and connect with those who share similar interests and values. Therefore, online dating has become an integral part of modern social life. People are increasingly transitioning from traditional methods to using apps to seek relationships. Dating apps provide convenience and flexibility for users. They can search for and connect with others anytime, anywhere without leaving their homes. Features such as filters and classification algorithms help users choose individuals who match their interests, preferences, and personal criteria. The goal of the project is to build an application with all the features of a dating app. It allows users to create accounts and log in. Apply filters to narrow down search results based on criteria such as age and gender. The connectivity feature displays user information within the app and notifies users when someone likes or matches with them. It integrates a chat function for users to interact, sending text and image messages. Finally, the app allows users to update their profile information and images, featuring a visually appealing and user-friendly interface. The application is built on the iOS platform, utilizing the Swift programming language provided by Apple, along with relevant frameworks. It also integrates Firebase for calling and storing user data. The dating app project has been completed, successfully meeting the set objectives. The system provides full functionality and operates effectively.
