BUILDING A WEBSITE FOR SELLING JEWELRY

Abstract

Ecommerce or electronic commerce refers to a business model that involves sales transactions being done on the web. Nowadays, most of online shopping website follows this structure. Any site where user can obtain items for selling over the internet is considered an ecommerce website. Clearly online commerce offers a plethora of benefits includes convenience, personalization and customer experience, global marketplace and minimized expenses. Currently Java language is one of the recommended programming languages for web development because of its advantages. Java language accessible for free to web developers, the syntax involved quite clear for developers. In addition, with the collaboration with JavaScript language - a lightweight interpreted programming language with first-class functions with many commanding frameworks display ready-to-use codes that access to several additional capabilities that will increase the efficiency. Therefore, my thesis named “Building a website for selling jewelry” will choose Java and JavaScript programming languages during project implementation.
