BUILDING A WEBSITE FOR MANAGING "LIGHT YOUR HOPE" SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

Abstract

Light Your Hope Scholarship is a program designed to aid academically excellent students from underprivileged backgrounds in Vietnam across all provinces. This scholarship targets individuals facing financial constraints yet demonstrating exceptional academic performance. The immediate priority for the program is establishing an efficient system to streamline the application process. This study primarily relied on internet resources include Google and YouTube as crucial platforms for gathering information and insights. Additionally, the utilization of AIpowered tools like ChatGPT provided valuable guidance and suggestions in conceptualizing the system. The guidance and suggestions provided by the instructor were pivotal in shaping the direction and methodology of this research. The instructor played a critical role in offering valuable insights and suggestions, aligning the research process. The methodology also involved some approaches: • Requirement and Feature Identification: Detailed listing and analysis of system prerequisites and functionalities were conducted to outline a comprehensive scope. • User Roles Identification: This research involved identifying different types of users who would interact with the system. These user roles were outlined to ensure that the system was designed to accommodate the diverse needs of its users. 2 • Data Visualization using Models: With standard models, data visualization was utilized to present a clear and illustrative representation of the system’s data structure and relationships. The main accomplishment of this project was creating a system that meets the essential needs of the scholarship organization. This system effectively handles the application process, fulfilling the basic requirements set by the scholarship program. This project was an educational journey, teaching me a lot about building software. It was practical because it directly met the needs of the organization I'm involved with. What makes it special is that it's not just theory—it's about actually making software that solves real problems for a real organization. It's been a valuable experience, showing me how software development works in the real world. Overall, this project has been both a learning experience and a practical exercise, directly relevant to the needs of the organization.
