Zika virus (ZIKV) infection has become a major public health problem in the tropical and sub-tropical regions. Currently, there is no cure for ZIKV infection yet and preventive vaccine stills under clinical trials. Early diagnosis is critical allowing decrease the risk of transmission, guide public health policies and provide valuable information to treatment regimen. NS1 protein is highly conserved and is a potential diagnostic marker of ZIKV infection even at very early infection stage. Nevertheless, the NS1 coding sequence is specific according to viral lineages.vi_VN
