Abstract: In this study, compressive strength characteristics and effect of aging of flow value due to addition of silicic acid sodium by powder addition method and aqueous solution addition method were experimentally examined. As a result, following information was obtained. (1) As long as concentration of silicic acid sodium aqueous solution is within range of 3.0 mol/L, compressive strength increases as concentration of silicic acid sodium increases and specific surface area of fly ash increases, regardless of addition method of silicic acid sodium. (2) The effect of aging of How value by powder addition method differs depending on added amount of silicic acid sodium, type of fly ash, and ratio of setting retarder added.
