Abstract: The old sewer management and monitoring system requires a lot of human resources to operate and keep it works correctly. Moreover, accidents occasionally occur and come with tragedy and loss. Therefore, to reduce human resource and accidents, we propose a modern management and monitoring system which are on multi-platform like web applications and mobile applications. The main goal of the project “Sewer management and monitoring system – web services for the management and controlling sewer” is to build web services which collect and distribute data to clients; and allows multiple applications built on various programming languages such as web app, mobile to have the ability to communicate with each other. By applying mordern technologies such as RESTful, Node.js, MongoDB, Socketio library, the MQTT protocol, and mordern design principles, we create strong scalability base for further researchs.
