dc.description.abstractParacetamol in tablets was quantitatively determined by Raman spectroscopy in combination with PLS (RS/PLS) and PCR (RS/PCR). 7 training batches of paracetamol tablets 0, 8, 28, 50, 70, 85, 100% were made to be subject to Raman spectral analysis; the observed data were then added Into the training dataset to build RS/PLS and RS/PCR models. Especially, the 70% verifying batches were made to get spectral data for the verifying dataset to verify the 2 above models. Both models showed selective, repeatable and accurate within certain acceptable limits, proved high potential to quantify QC. Besides, they were applied to quick-sifting and semi-quantitating content of paracetamol (as the main active principle) in 28 samples of 3 marketed tablet products. The contents and mean errors predicted by the two models for each of these batches were quite good, close to their individual label-average content. Moreover, individual paracetamol contents of the samples from the 3 above products were significantly different.vi_VN
