Abstract: With regard the natural triterpenoids of Lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum (Leyss. ex Fr.) Karst.) that are known as active principles for treatment of dementia-related diseases such as Alzheimer, but of poor absorbility due their hydrophobic nature, nanodispersion dosage forms of the triterpenoid-rich extracts from the Red Lingzhi of Vietnam (NPs-L) were formulated to enhance the cellular uptake of triterpenoids. The obtained products were charaterized. The particle size averaged at ca. 143.940 ± 2.525 nm; the stability derirable for at least 6 months of storage at 30 ± 2 cC and ambient relative humidity of 75% ± 5%; the inhibitory activity on cholinesterase was demonstrated by Ellman method, reaching 50% at 0.094 pg/mL (IC₅₀ = 0.094 pg/mL), as 2.59 times higher than the initial Lingzhi extracts (IC₅₀ = 0.244 pg/mL).
