In the article "Nghê - A Sacred Pure Vietnamese Animal" first published on Talawas, Bùi Ngọc Tuân emphasizes the presence of Nghê in the spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. However, the development of Nghê in the history of the Vietnamese plastic arts is fairly complicated. However, the comparison between nghê and kỳ lân (unicorn) is not as common as the comparison between nghê and sư tử (lion). The concept of pure Vietnamese is not simple at all.vi_VN
