Buckwheat plant (Fgopyrum escu1entum moench) is a great nutritive source for human and animals because it contains a high level of essential amino acids, minerals and B vitamins as compared with other cereals. It can grow and survive in harsh natural condition, even with a low amount of fertilizer. Buckwheat is also referred as a good antioxidant source. Although it contains allergens and has low digestibility due to high fiber content and some anti-nutritive factors in grain, Buckwheat can provide valuable nutrients to suppprt human and animal health. It may successfully replace other cereals in human food and animal feed when facing with the change condition of climate in the future. In the coming section the buckwheat as a potential feedstuff is introduced in detail.vi_VN
