dc.description.abstractA simultaneous HPLC method for quantification of6-gingerol and 6-shogaol in Rhizoma Zingiberis was established as follows: Column - C18 (250 x 4.6 mm, 5 pm); Detector - UV (280 nm); Mobile phase - ACN and 1% acetic acid solution (60:40, v/v). The method was validated for the HPLC system compatibility specificity, repeatability, recovery (>95.0%). As for practical application, 6-gingerol and 6-shogaol in ginger samples harvested at different places in Vietnam. The sample from Hau Giang province got the highest in both of analyzed compounds (6.04 ± 0,39% and 0.42 ± 0,03 % for 6-gingerol and 6- shogaol, respectively).vi_VN
