dc.description.abstractThis research was conducted with the aim of clarifying the difficulties that exist in public speaking skills of students who are majoring in English Studies, Department of English Language and Culture, School of Foreign Languages, Can Tho University, including 100 participants. Using the descriptive method, the questionnaire was designed with two separate sections to collect students' opinions about difficulties and solutions towards English public speaking. The collected data would be encoded and inputed in SPSS 22.0 program for analysis and statistics. The findings illustrated that the difficulties mainly came from the lack of English speaking environment, limited vocabulary knowledge and low-self confidence. From careful analysis of the above limitations, the corresponding solutions have been proposed to rise some pedagogical implications for educators.vi_VN
