| Abstract: | Five triterpenoid saponins, mussaendoside O (1), nuissaendoside G (2), mussaendoside U (3), mussaendoside P (4), and mussaendoside Q (5) were isolaied from the methanol extract of the aerial parts of Mussaenda glabra. Their chemical structurcs were otermined using NMR spectra, ESI-MS, as well as in comparison with the reported data. These compounds have been reported from the Mussaenda glabra for the fìrst time. |
