Abstract: Public space and urban green space hava gained their importance in qualifying living environments. These spaces also reflect the resilience of an area. In recent years, under the urbanization process, the community's reaction creates the demand for having more open green spaces while the land for development is limited. Signilicantly, in the context of climate change, the cansideratian has transformed into a large-scale urban design approach rather than individual architectural design to ensure the adaptation. Therefore. it is necessary to redevelop or create new pocket parks from the neighborhood potentials. Like many areas in the Mekong Delta, Can Tho City (CTC) has experienced a rapid transition and required mare new urban green spaces. This study aims to determine the appropriate strategies for developers in making pocket parks and propose significant designs based on local community and local development index.
