BUILDING A PLAGIARISM DETECTIONSYSTEM

Abstract

Nowadays, with the development of technology, the sources of sample text in theses are more widely available in the Internet. Then, students can be easy to search and copy templates on the Internet. This leads to many similar reports and affecting its quality. In addition, the popularization of templates will also reduce student’s research ability and creativity in learning. With a large source of samples on the Internet, teachers cannot accurately check the level of plagiarism of the essays submitted by students. This thesis focuses on building a plagiarism detection system, particularly the code plagiarism detection and the web application modules. The application is built as a web application and the learning model is based on Turnitin. Therefore, this application makes it possible for teachers to manage student essays.
