SMART SALE SYSTEM: FACE RECOGNITION MODULE

Abstract

The world today is witnessing a new kind of revolution—the Information Revolution—ushered in by technology. This revolution is far more sweeping than any other revolution in history in its reach and influence, bringing fundamental changes in all aspects of our life. Information technology (IT) is the engine used to drive useful information systems. This includes computers, software, Internet/intranet and telecommunication systems. IT provides the means for collecting, storing, encoding, processing, analyzing, transmitting, receiving and printing text, audio or video information. In the present context, IT is not merely the matter of machines and microchips. In fact, now it regulates all aspects of our lives including how we live, how we enjoy it. Special Post-Covid-19, our economy is in serious trouble, people don’t want to stay at home and together cook something. They choose another one more simple but not waste time. So I built this system to help restaurants order food in their seats. This is a tool to help the waiter who is standing at the customer site to make an order and transfer this order into the kitchen. There, the chief will take the order and make food following the customer requirement. And then, after all things are done, they can change the status of this order and give the waiter a notification that he can know what is the status of this order now and take it to the customer. And this system also helps the waiter to discount the cost of orders for customers by face extracting. If the system can search for a customer from the database so we can give him/her the voucher, in here, we will tell about it more clearly in another thethis. In this thesis we just focus on the system.
